Short explanations for the task in front of you. Search by topic, follow a help link from the portal, or browse the guides below.

The public website, controlled pilot, and planned workflows are labeled separately. Georgian help will follow editorial review.

Sign in and recover access

Use the email address of your ISPC account. Request a sign-in email and use the newest link or one-time code.

If the email does not arrive, check the address and spam folder. A successful request does not confirm delivery. Request a fresh email if the link or code has expired. Never share your code.

Identity and access rights

Email sign-in and a verified ISPC identity are separate. Staff confirm an identity before protected community sharing and contact are enabled.

Your roles determine which workspaces you can open. Contact the ISPC team if your identity or role needs review; do not create another account to bypass it.

Profile and visibility

Keep your name and institutional affiliation accurate. A conference registration is separate from a public profile.

Community participation is voluntary. Check the visibility shown before sharing information; account and author contact details are not a public directory.

External research profiles

The abstract author form supports an optional LinkedIn profile URL. Use the direct profile address, not a search or company page.

ResearchGate and Google Scholar profile integration is a further development item; a field must be available and its visibility explained before you use it.

Choose your participation path

Start with conference registration. Then choose whether you want to present. A presentation abstract is completed before proceedings intent is requested.

Attending, presenting, and publishing are separate steps. An intention to publish is not publication acceptance.

Authors and ORCID

List all authors in the agreed order and provide their institutional information. Identify the corresponding author.

Each author needs a valid ORCID iD. Obtain a missing ORCID at orcid.org. Check names and identifiers before submission; similar names do not establish identity.

Check and submit an abstract

Complete the title, author details, abstract of no more than 300 words, and exactly five distinct keywords. Follow the field messages.

Save your draft, review the current version, and submit when complete. Check the recorded status before retrying after a connection error; a draft is not a submitted version.

Review feedback and revisions

The abstract review and the authorized ISPC decision are separate steps. Reviewers provide constructive feedback; the decision releases the applicable report to the author.

Follow the recorded decision and available revision action. Do not overwrite a submitted version. A full-paper review is a separate process from the abstract review.

H09 · In preparation

Prepare the full-paper package

The intended full-paper package contains the final DOCX, a matching PDF, and the required signed Licence to Publish. LTP collection belongs to the full-paper stage.

The complete upload and publisher-package workflow is still being prepared. Use only a confirmed submission route and the agreement format requested for your proceedings volume.

Check your ISPC history

My ISPC history shows evidence-based activities linked to your confirmed identity. A presentation and a published chapter are different records.

Report a missing or incorrect record with the conference year, title, and available source. Name similarity alone must not merge people.

Explore research

Use the Research Explorer to find contributions by topic and available filters. Open a record to inspect its abstract, keywords, source, and related research clusters.

A cluster describes subject relevance. It is not a quality rating or evidence that authors already collaborate. Follow publisher links for full published chapters.

H12 · Controlled pilot

Start from a research contribution

Start a collaboration offer or request from a contribution in the Research Explorer. Check that the linked contribution and research topics are correct before saving.

A linked contribution supplies research context; it does not claim authorship or an existing collaboration.

H13 · Controlled pilot

Describe an offer or request

Choose whether you are offering expertise or looking for support. State the research question, the help you seek or offer, and your own contribution clearly.

Add relevant topics, methods, language, format, time commitment, and response date. Avoid confidential or unauthorized third-party material.

H14 · Controlled pilot

Save and publish directly

Save draft keeps an unfinished entry unpublished. Verified, active members can publish a complete entry directly; Open means it is available on the members’ board.

Ordinary posts and conversations do not require prior moderator approval. Edit your own entry to update it; close it when you no longer want new requests.

H15 · Controlled pilot

Request and accept contact

Use Express interest to explain the connection you see and the contribution you can make. The owner can accept or decline.

After acceptance, use the protected conversation. Email addresses are not automatically disclosed. Keep the exchange relevant and respectful.

H16 · Controlled pilot

Close, block, or report

Close a contact when an exchange is complete. Block unwanted further contact, or report a problematic entry with a concrete reason.

Closing, blocking, and reporting have different purposes. Closing does not erase existing messages. Moderation does not grant general access to private conversations.

H17 · Controlled pilot

Handle a reported entry

Authorized moderators respond to reports rather than approving every entry. Inspect the reported version and record a concrete reason before hiding it.

Resolve the report when addressed. A hidden entry can be restored or returned for revision according to the available action.

H18 · Public information

Programs and participation

Use the year archive and the scientific program to find sessions, contribution details, moderators, and available conference documents.

Historical schedules are conference records; they do not prove attendance. Confirmed information about the next conference appears in Announcements.

H19 · Controlled pilot

Scientific roles and decisions

Staff screen completeness and assign authorized reviewers. Reviewers declare conflicts and submit their reports; authorized decision-makers record decisions separately.

Use only your assigned role and the current version. Keep scientific judgment, file completeness, proceedings intent, and publisher status distinct.

Visibility and notifications

Check whether information is private, visible to verified members, or expressly released publicly. Community participation is voluntary and separate from publication decisions.

Refresh the community to retrieve its latest state. Do not assume an email notification has been sent unless the service explicitly confirms that notification.

Troubleshooting and support

Read the message nearest your last action. Check required fields, identity and role access, the current version, and whether your change was actually saved.

If you need help, describe the last step, the error, conference year, and contribution reference. Contact ispcconf@gmail.com. Do not send passwords, access codes, or unnecessary private documents.
